What does God have to say about that?
I attend EastLake Church almost every week when I am in California. It is a fun church, where they help people with getting close to God. Currently we are approaching the end of this series called “Work Sucks, Then You Die” and I absolutely love it. Not to mention, this series can help a person who is not excelling at work, to excel.
Change the way you think, make more money, be successful, eliminate your debt and most importantly get closer to God.
How do you view your job?
If you own a business, how do your employees view their job? If you only new right. Do they consider it to be just a job? Most people do.
After watching this video you may reconsider the way you view your job.
Work Sucks, Then You Die – Week 1 from EastLake Church on Vimeo.
On the Monday after I attended the 1st of this series on “Work Sucks, Then You Die”, I allowed my entire staff to sit at work for the first hour of the day and watch this video. Like with many things in life, mental preparation and mental visualization allows you to get so much more out of whatever you are trying to do, including succeeding in sports and work. Changing the way you view something from a negative perspective, to a positive way of looking at it, can make the world of a difference. Add God into the picture, and the sky is the limit.
God wants you to incorporate Gods way into your everyday life. If you are at work and the person sitting next to you is having a bad day, say something to make his day better. Kindness goes a long way. If the person that sits on the left of you needs help with something, even if you are busy, take time out of your schedule to help someone else. Instead of slacking off and playing on Facebook, or taking naps every-time your manager turns his head, challenge yourself to reach new production goals.

Do you spoil your children? Parents need to understand how to raise their kids properly. There is a fine line between spoiling your children, and treating them good. It is hard for many to make the most of their jobs, but at the end of the day that’s what you have to do. It isn’t always easy or fun but it really will make your life easier if you try to find joy in what you do even if it is something you don’t feel you were particularly born to do. I guess few get to work in a field they feel they were born for, but for the rest of us it helps to keep a positive attitude when you make a living.
Yes I agree Erin. A positive attitude goes a long way!
